The Kona Rescue Mission is bridging the gap in girl’s education. A girl who has accomplished 8 or more years of schooling will marry three years later, have fewer children and will send her children to school at some point.
The greater benefit of educating a girl extent far beyond the classroom, an educated woman will reinvest into over 85% of her income back into family and community. The better educated a girl, the more choices that become available to her and the community as a whole.
