The Kona Rescue Mission is a grassroots non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering the young generation, the undeserved and underprivileged along with assisting those in need throughout the community and around the world. The mission also gives hope for the future. The Kona Rescue Mission and its partners are unlocking the potential of underprivileged and underserved kids, elderly and battered women or girls who have been forgotten to abuse or sex trafficking. Growing up in Africa, especially in Liberia, I have seen over decades of unprivileged children, elderly, and widows have struggled to sustain themselves daily. Some children, elderly, and widows go to bed without food to eat. Water that is essential to everyday lives is out reach for children, elderly, and widows to meet the daily needs. Education is not feasible due to lack of income from families who can't afford to send their children to school. Some children are affected because they lost their parents to the Ebola crisis in recent time. Let us help change lives!
